The Ohio Space Grant Consortium (OSGC) Mini-grant Program

OSGC offers mini-grants up to $1,000 to support innovative projects & programs from any discipline demonstrating space related interests. Mini-grants support K-12 math, science, or computer projects and are available to all Ohio K-12 teachers. Funds received may be used for an activity anytime during the following 1-year period. Proposals submitted for funding under the Mini-grant Program must be on the form provided and must contain the following information:

• Project title
• Goals and rationale of the project
• Brief biographical information on the primary investigator and co-investigators
• Project description (including time-tables and deliverables)
• Projected results and method of evaluation
• Potential benefits to the schools involved
• Detailed budget including matching funds

• Targeted to women and minorities
• That will have impact beyond the initial grant period
• That can be readily replicated at other schools
• Involving interclassroom, interdisciplinary, and multi-teacher initiatives
• That include community outreach projects and parental involvement.
