Graduate Fellowship ProgramThis program provides financial support through competitively awarded fellowships to Masters and Doctoral students pursuing degrees in one of the STEM disciplines (science, technology, engineering, or mathematics) at OSGC universities. Awards to Master's students are for $16,000 plus tuition for a calendar year; the fellowship award may be extended for an additional six-month period, but not automatically. Current Master’s 1 recipients who are interested in being extended for an additional six-month period are encouraged to follow up with their Campus Representative about their school’s renewal policy. Awards to Doctoral students are for $20,000 plus tuition for a calendar year; these may be extended for an additional two years, but not automatically. Current Doctoral fellowship recipients who are interested in being extended are encouraged to follow up with their Campus Representative about their school’s renewal policy. Applications may be obtained from the OSGC office at each member university and are due by March 1 of each year. Awardees are required to participate in university research projects and present results at the annual OSGC Research Symposium. Fellowship awards are contingent on appropriate funding from NASA. Note that no indirect charges are allowed by the university for fellowship awards. You will need to have Adobe Acrobat Reader loaded on your system to read the following PDF downloads:

Special Minority FellowshipThe Ohio Space Grant Consortium (OSGC) is strongly committed to student diversity in its undergraduate scholarship and graduate fellowship programs. In order to increase the number underrepresented students engaged in the graduate fellowship program, OSGC instituted the Special Minority Fellowship Program Award. The award is to be offered on an annual basis. Awards to Master's students are for $16,000 plus tuition for a calendar year; these may be extended for an additional six-month period. Awards to Doctoral students are for $20,000 plus tuition for a calendar year; these may be extended for an additional two years. The fellowship is to be awarded for pursuit of a Master's or Doctoral degree in one of the STEM disciplines (science, technology, engineering, or mathematics), and can be used at any of the OSGC universities that offer graduate degrees in those disciplines. Eligible student applicants are underrepresented-underserved minority seniors who will be attending an OSGC member university. The fellowship award winner will attend the OSGC Annual Student Research Symposium and make a brief presentation of his/her graduate research each year over the duration of his/her graduate work.
