2009 Student Research Project Symposium

Plans for the Seventeenth Annual Ohio Space Grant Consortium (OSGC) Student Research Symposium on Friday, April 17, 2009, are underway. The Symposium will be held again this year at the Ohio Aerospace Institute (OAI) in Cleveland, Ohio.

The Symposium is an integral part of the OSGC Scholarship/Fellowship Program, and attendance is mandatory. We look forward to seeing all of you there.

Please keep in mind this is to be an enjoyable experience and will be noncompetitive. Oral presentations by Senior Scholars and Graduate Fellows are scheduled for 15 minutes each. Try to present your research project by giving sufficient background material so that it is understandable to someone not knowledgeable in your field. Juniors, Community College, Education, and Bridge Scholars will prepare a poster illustrating their projects and should be prepared to discuss their research with faculty and other students during the afternoon poster session. Junior Scholars also have the option to present their research in an oral presentation. Student faculty advisors and the new 2009-10 OSGC Scholars and Fellows are also welcome to attend.
